Blank Slate to Full Premium Build

A boat with no electronics, audio or lighting. Installed 4 DS18 6.5" HYDRO RGB speakers, 2 DS18 6.5" HYDRO RGB tower speakers, a DS18 10" HYDRO RGB sub, a DS18 NXL amp, a JL Audio MM55-HR hideaway stereo, a Shadow-Caster lighting controller, RGB under-gunwale lighting, a light bar and a rear spreader light. Built an NMEA 2000 backbone with a Navico fluid level sensor so fuel shows on the Simrad display, plus a custom cabin electronics rack mount.

Big Audio and Blue Lighting Upgrade

2 DS18 8" speakers, 2 DS18 6.5" speakers, 2 DS18 6.5" tower speakers and a DS18 5-channel amp, with a blue lighting theme across the cockpit and helm.

Fixed speaker buzz with shielded RCAs, added a DS18 Bluetooth receiver while keeping the existing stereo, and installed a start battery plus 2 house batteries so the electronics stop shutting off when the engines start.

Returning Customer Upgrade

4 DS18 HYDRO RGB speakers, a DS18 5-channel amp and a Fusion RA770 stereo integrated over NMEA 2000 so it is controlled from the Garmin display at the helm. Added stainless RGBW courtesy lights and a Garmin Spectra LC302 controller that runs cockpit, speaker and underwater lighting from the same display.

Replaced a trim tab controller that kept dropping off the network with a Lenco LED indicator two-piece tactile switch.

Unfinished Install Rescue

Completed 3 Lumitec SeaBlaze X2 underwater lights left unfinished by someone else and cleaned up the wiring. Next phase: audio, full RGB and engine data on a single display.

Next-Day Stereo Upgrade

New Clarion head unit and Rockford Fosgate M0-65 speakers with customer-supplied gear, scheduled and completed the very next day.

Battery Drain Diagnosis and Refit

Found the drain and added solar charging. Installed customer-supplied stereo, speakers and VHF, plus a new switch panel with volt meter and USB, USB integrated into the stereo, and dedicated accessory switches.
